My Story
My name is Tersia Woodenberg. I am a registered Holistic Counsellor currently completing my master’s with the Australian School of Holistic Counselling (ASHC). I am a member of the International Meditation Teachers and Therapists Association, Natural Therapy Pages NZ and The Institute for Complimentary Therapists.
My background was in training, development, and business for the last 25 years. During this time, I have lectured in areas of leadership, empowerment, emotional intelligence and training and assessment. I also gave lectures on youth at risk, business management, business administration, student management systems, and occupational health and safety. In addition to my training background, I have managed various Training Organisations, my last position being Chief Executive Officer for 3.5 years.
I left the business sector to follow my dream of studying Holistic Counselling after experiencing events that left me feeling overwhelmed and distressed. Holistic practices helped me to gain strategies to overcome my trauma, which was holding me back from living the life that I wanted to live. This experience has given me the ability to have a deeper understanding, empathy and compassion for individuals to provide counselling in a safe and inclusive environment.
Some things you should know about me:
I am a kind, loving, social and happy person who lives her life fully and authentically.
I am easy to talk to, a great communicator, intuitive, empathetic, and with a warm and inviting demeanour.
When I am not working, I will be emersed in nature, such as walking along the beach, trail walks, spending time with my family and learning new things in every way. I also enjoy reading, gym sessions, road trips and travel.
The most important people in my life are those whom I love dearly and who are part of my family and extended community.
I am passionate about making a change and always strive to be better than the day before.
I live my life with compassion, joy, love, laughter, and fun.
I pride myself on the ability to change and healthily impact lives. I do so by offering a variety of services to help all my clients achieve healthier bodies and minds.

Ubuntu embraces the idea that humans cannot exist in isolation; we depend on connection, community, and caring – simply, we cannot be without each other.
This philosophy requires a conscious shift in how we think about ourselves and others especially now more than ever.
Ubuntu encapsulates who I am, my values and principles as an individual, and my approach as a Holistic Counsellor.
By incorporating the Ubuntu concept into my counselling, the importance of mental health which impacts the body, mind, and spirit is acknowledged, using a holistic approach to empower individuals to achieve health, well-being, and inner healing for themselves.
